С моей точки зрения как исследователя, ясно, что дедолларизация — это не то, чего мы можем ожидать в ближайшем будущем или даже в среднесрочной перспективе. Однако важно признать значительные успехи Китая в направлении дедолларизации собственной экономики с течением времени.
Вместо этого вполне возможно, что эта тенденция может сохраниться в течение более длительного периода. Это особенно верно, учитывая, что доля доллара США во всех мировых валютных резервах значительно снизилась всего за последние восемь лет, снизившись с 65,3% до 58,8%. Более того, многие страны, особенно те, которые связаны с БРИКС, приобретали золото, несмотря на рост цен.
Репутация золота как безопасной гавани и средства хранения стоимости значительно возросла с 2019 года, особенно после вспышки COVID-19. Этот всплеск интереса распространился и на другие активы, имеющие схожие характеристики, такие как золото. Недавно биткойн и криптовалюты стали еще одним классом активов с такими свойствами.
Биткойн спешит на помощь?
Например, такие страны, как Россия и Иран, начали использовать Биткойн и майнинг биткойнов как метод уменьшения воздействия международных санкций, с которыми они сталкиваются. Примечательно, что Россия в настоящее время экспериментирует с торговыми платформами криптовалюты, чтобы определить, как эти цифровые транзакции могут осуществляться через границы.
Как и отдельные организации, БРИКС проявил интерес к введению цифровой валюты, обеспеченной золотом, что связано с прошлыми переговорами о создании «валюты БРИКС».
Помимо этих страстей, многие страны выражают большой интерес к подражанию Сальвадору, накапливая биткойны в качестве национального резервного актива.
